Care Receivers are people who might be going through a difficult time because of a life changing experience. Sometimes we feel alone during these times, but we don't need to. Church is community, and we are here to tend to your spiritual and emotional needs. Please call if you or someone you know would appreciate someone to walk with, through this journey.
Stephen Leaders train 25 hours to train Stephen Ministers, refer Stephen Ministers to Care Receivers, Supervise groups of Stephen Ministers who mentor each other, and Communicate information to the parish. Contact Barbara Tate if you are interested in joining our team.

Stephen Ministers train 50 hours to get commissioned to go out and spend one hour a week with a care receiver. Important topics are covered, such as, feelings, listening, assertiveness, boundaries, confidentiality, mental health, and other things that we need in our human relationships. We are grateful to the people below, who have trained and agreed to serve for a minimum of two years.

Stephen Ministry is an organized system to walk with people, when they are in need of someone who will listen, when they need to talk things out. Consider letting us know when you need care, or when someone you know needs care. This is a confidential one-to-one visit of Christian care one hour a week, and a great way to serve the parish and take care of each other as Christ asks us to do.
