The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ to help souls get to heaven. Everything that the Catholic Church stands for is built upon the confession that Jesus is Lord. Christ provided His Church with a visible head (Mt. 16:18), the pope, as well as sacraments to nourish and give grace to us.
Over the 2,000 years the Church has existed we've had countless Saints and sinners that have gone before us in the adventure of following our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The Church believes in both Scripture and Tradition and that the sacraments were established by Christ to fill us with His presence and enable us to live holy lives.
